You can ask about something that does not make sense without being punished, guilted, threatened, or told you are disloyal for asking.

A caring partner does not need to isolate you from children, friends, siblings, or anyone else who might ask questions.

Scammers can be patient, caring, and convincing. A live video call or months of daily messages can be reassuring, but neither is a guarantee. Look for a pattern across identity, actions, money, meetings, and how the person responds when you ask reasonable questions.
