Review the Messages helps people take a clearer look at conversations from online and long-distance relationships. We also work with family members or friends who are worried about someone they care about and want an impartial review of the messages.

We understand that the conversations you send us may include private details about relationships, money, family, travel, health, or other personal matters. We take that seriously.

What Information We Collect

When you use Review the Messages, we may collect information such as your name, email address, intake answers, message histories, screenshots, documents, and other information you choose to send us.

If you are purchasing a review because you are concerned about a parent, child, sibling, friend, or other family member who is involved in an online relationship, the materials you submit may also contain information about that person and the person they are communicating with.

Our website may also collect normal technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and general website activity.

Payments are processed through Stripe or another payment provider shown at checkout. Review the Messages does not directly store your complete credit card number.

How We Use the Information You Send Us

We use the information you provide to complete the review you purchased, organize the conversation, prepare your report, communicate with you, provide customer support, process payments, prevent misuse, and meet legal or business obligations.

We may use technology, including automated or artificial-intelligence tools, to help sort large message histories, build timelines, compare statements, and find patterns in the conversation.

Technology is used to help with the review. The final report is reviewed by a person before it is delivered.

Your Messages and Other People’s Information

Online relationship conversations often include information about another person. Only submit messages, screenshots, documents, or other materials that you have the right to provide.

We do not need unnecessary sensitive information to review a conversation. Please do not send passwords, Social Security numbers, complete credit card numbers, full bank-account numbers, authentication codes, or similar information unless there is a specific and legitimate reason for it to be included.

Who We Share Information With

We use third-party companies to help operate the service. These may include companies that provide website hosting, payment processing, secure file intake and storage, email, communications, and technology used to assist with message analysis.

Our website is hosted through Hostinger, and payments are processed through Stripe. We may use additional providers for secure uploads, storage, communications, or analysis as the service develops.

We share information with these providers only when it is reasonably necessary for them to perform a service for us or when we are required to do so by law.

We Do Not Sell Your Messages

We do not sell customer message histories, uploaded conversations, screenshots, or personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep submitted materials only for as long as reasonably necessary to complete the review, deliver the report, communicate with you, handle customer-service or payment issues, prevent fraud or misuse, and meet legal or business obligations.

We are not promising that every file will be deleted on a specific number of days. Different records may need to be kept for different periods depending on why they are being retained.

You may ask us to delete materials associated with your review. Some limited records may still need to be kept for accounting, fraud prevention, legal obligations, payment disputes, or documentation that a service was provided.
